MOVE MY SPIRIT TOUR brought together practitioners, authors, and speakers who are engaged in worldwide alternative healing modalities. The 2010 TOUR was exposed to a widely diverse audience and culminated on October 30, at beautiful American Beach on Amelia Island Florida. It was preceded by a kickoff event held June 5, 2010 in Jacksonville, Florida. The hugely successful mission was to provide an environment in which attendees could learn, observe, and experience diverse healing methods. We believe that introducing the efficacy of existing indigenous systems promotes respect for diverse paths. These practices embrace the spiritual and physical well being of the world’s peoples, which includes curbing ills caused by hunger, poverty, racism, etc. MOVE MY SPIRIT TOUR organizers have a core commitment to support the eradication of fears which promulgate distrust, intolerance, and the misguided belief that cultural diversities should be shunned instead of embraced.
The MOVE MY SPIRIT TOUR: · Brings people together through respect for different paths · Educates about the genesis of alternative, new age spiritual and healing modalities · Provides healing demonstrations · Provides an environment for attendees to experience, practice, and learn about sacred beliefs from around the world · Inspires people to work together through trust · Donates a portion of its proceeds to an organization supporting the eradication of extreme poverty in the world · Gives exposure to a global marketplace · Exchanges information among practitioners, adherents, and attendees · Presents practitioners, authors, filmmakers · Provides world entertainment in music, dance, and storytelling |
